Each year sixteen percent of all deaths are caused by infectious diseases.
Most of these deaths are in low and middle income countries and are related
to preventable or treatable diseases such as diarrhea, lower respiratory infections,
HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
We developed a fast and low cost diagnostic and disease surveillance technology for infectious diseases which allow doctors, nurses and community health workers to diagnose diseases directly on the point of care, in less than 15 minutes, without the use of any lab equipment.
